SMS Error of Windows Phone may affect some Computer applications
Microsoft has identified the cause of SMS error on Windows Phone can lead to lock messages application and the company is testing a patch on the software for devices running this OS.
Greg Sullivan, senior product manager of Windows Phone said the company is working with devices partner to release fixes to consumers, but he declined to give specific time. In addition, the company is examining some other softwares on Windows cause similar errors on Windows Phone. Khaled Salameh, who reported the bug to Microsoft, revealed a number of name application may be affected including:
- Windows Live Messenger
- Windows Live Mail
- Silverlight applications
- Visual Studio 2010
- Expressions Blend and applications written in Windows Presentation Foundation (a software platform to help build the user interface on .NET framework).
Windows Live Messenger application will be closed and all users of the listing will not be able to sign in if you define a string (the string is crippling Windows Phone) is used as the states title. So, users can inadvertently prevent your friends using chat application of Microsoft because it will fail soon after launching.
