A new version of Google Maps appears on Android Market promising improved battery life for users of Google Latitude and Location History. The geographical location update of your friends in Latitude list will be faster. Navigation Transit feature (currently in Beta phase) can be used to estimate whether you’re in any position if GPS signal is lost.
Previously, directions feature using public transportation can only display up to three route choices for us, but now it has increased to 4. Google also added to the map at the CES 2012 and several other parts of Las Vegas based on an information gathering tool was in use from November last called Floor Plans. This tool allows users to upload maps in the home of architecture but is still being tested. To ensure privacy, Floor Plans will not accept information about the buildings not used for public purposes. Proceed to download the latest version of Google Maps for Android at the source link.
