[CES 2012] Android Design, guiding design app for Android 4.0

At CES 2012 , Google introduced Android Design website, a tool helping programmers design interfaces for applications running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. This is the first time Google giudes in detail about it. Programmer will be aware of interface elements such as buttons, labels, lists, columns, option box , … and how to use them on applications,and what their features are. This work promises to be consolidated in terms of software for the smartphone and tablet running Android.

Matias Duarte, leader of the Android user experience and who have much affect to Android 3.0 interface, warning that the application is not designed that Android Design oriented can be “different” in negative sense. But he also stressed that this is only guidance, not a mandatory requirement and the software developers will benefit from the interface design as a general style of entire operating syste.

Until now, Android applications is designed as desired by programmers and not follow any standard, so that users sometimes feel troubled because do not know which feature to find and where it is located . Android Design released, not only guarantee the aesthetic across all applications and helps users easy access to more software, even for applications that running on the phone or tablet.
